Kelsey Rondeau 

(Founder/Artistic Director)

Kelsey is a dancer, choreographer, filmmaker, writer, drag performer and an International Good-Time-Gracie. They spent their childhood moving around the country, finally settling down in Redding, California. It was there at age 13 they discovered their love for theater and dance, and they haven’t stopped hamming it up since then.They went on to study Dance at the University of Texas at Austin, receiving their BFA in 2014. During their time at UT, they performed in works by Ohad Naharin, Robert Battle, Paul Taylor, Mark Morris, Merce Cunningham, as well as works by faculty members Charles O. Anderson, Holly Williams and Lyn Wiltshire. Following graduation, they moved to Berlin, Germany, to partake in the yearlong Dance Intensive at Tanzfabrik. It was during this time that they made their first dance piece, Avalanche of Beauty.

Following their year and a half long party, they packed their bags and moved to NYC in early 2016. In addition to forming Hard/Femme Dances, they have worked with Gibney Dance Center, AnA Collaborations, The Movement Playground, Sinking Ship Creations, Rock Dance Collective, BodyStories: Teresa Fellion Dance, The House of Yes and Johannes Wieland. They are currently starring in ZeroSpace as well as Third Rail Projects’ Then She Fell as The Mad Hatter.

Nathan Alan Carter III 

...also known in the German prison system as Lady Pasta Body, was born sometime between when all the Blockbusters closed and juice cleanses became a "thing" and recently graduated from the Julliard School in 2017 with a BFA in dance. Lady Pasta Body (LPB) enjoys creating ultra-queer work with a seemingly inevitable humorous twist. LPB is also a full time resident at the McKittrick Hotel, home of Sleep No More.

Alex Jenkins 

Formerly known as the dread pirate Alexis Jones, achieved enormous success as a self-proclaimed film star after cleaning up her act, trading in her swords and stolen jewelry for a pair of walking shoes and shacking up with her third and only living lover in Uptown Manhattan. She is thrilled to join Hard Femme Dances for their inaugural season.

Beatriz BB

is a dance artist, clown, and creator from Louisville, KY where she studied Dance and Musical Theater since she could shuffle hop step. BB graduated CalArts in 2015 then chassed her way to New York where she is a resident perfomer at House of Yes, "Fifi" in Fou York, and the legendary Nana.

Cody Pickens

Danced his way to his BFA at Arizona state university. Growing up in the controversial state of Arizona, he aimed to rebel against the systems that tried to quiet his queer voice, guiding him to the arms of his partner, where they make queer art together. Now residing in NY with his partner and their fur baby named Kimuchi, he is fully erect to be working with Hard/Femme Dances and serve you up some (Disco) biscuits and tea.

Allison Dyke 

Allison Dyke, aka Lily L’Noir, is a queer, mermaid-haired, moderately bossy dust witch who loves her cowboy hat, the color pink, and wiggling her noodle body all over stages of New York. She has a BFA in Dance Performance & Choreography and a BA in Psychology, both of which she won in a duel from the Dragon of Over-qualification at Elon University. Pixel Witch

is a gender non confirming homo sapien that was possessed by their TV, and imbued with the spirit of a forest faerie turned K Pop Star. She uses whatever pronoun she wants, they haven't danced professionally ever, he has never been in a proper dance company, and she is a resident aerialist drag performer at the internationally renown "Immersive" nightclub, House of Yes. @pixelwitchadventures.

Allison Sexton

..is a queer from the beautiful, yet problematic, state of North Carolina. She snatched her dance degree from Marymount Manhattan College. She can be found running around as the Operations Manager at Gibney 890, dancing on her roof, or hanging out with her wife and their cat-daughter Ma'am.

Manatsu Tanaka

A versatile performer who is building up

a career in NYC. After graduating with her BFA Dance degree, she expanded her field from dance to immersive theater to circus to burlesque, and is excited to see what is ahead of her.

She has worked with Randy Wiener, Mona Haydar, SKOUT, No.3 Magazine, danced in pieces by choreographers such as Paul Taylor, Jon Lehrer, Douglas Dunn and performed at venues such as The National Theater Tokyo, House of Yes, 3 Dollar Bill, The Tank, etc. Currently she is with Zerospace and Zombie Experience at Indoor extreme Sports as a resident company member.
